A: The antenna tuner is designed to save its tuned state once the tuning process is complete. Typically. if the frequency remains unchanged. the antenna tuner should be able to maintain this tuning state after power cycling. eliminating the need for retuning.

However. there are certain scenarios where manual retuning may be required:

1. Insufficient Input Power: If the antenna tuner does not receive adequate input power. the tuning process may not be fully completed. In such cases. manual intervention might be necessary to achieve optimal tuning.

2. Antenna Movement: Using the antenna while moving or changing its position can alter the Standing Wave Ratio (SWR). which may require manual retuning to regain optimal performance.

3. Frequency Change: Any change in the operating frequency will necessitate manual retuning.

It is important to note that if a non-fixed or stationary antenna is used. it can also lead to variations in the SWR. which might require periodic manual adjustments.

Q: How to resolve when the antenna tuner gets stuck during reset?

A:This is because theantenna tuner tuning requires a certain input power value. During thetuning process. if the detected power value is lower than the startingtuning power. it will usually get stuck in the tuning state.

Q: Why is the blue light blinking on my Antenna Tuner when it's turned off?

A: The blue light blinking indicates that the Antenna Tuner is in low-power standby mode. and it's normal for the indicator light to be slightly lit.

Manual (Semi-Automatic) Mode:

When operating in manual mode. the user can initiate the automatic adjustment of the equipment by long-pressing the TUNE button. This action ensures that the output impedance of the power amplifier (PA) matches the antenna feeder.

Full Automatic Mode:

In full automatic mode. there is no need for any key presses. The system will automatically begin adjusting whenever it detects that the standing wave ratio exceeds 1.3.

Start Tuning Power:

In manual (semi-automatic) mode. the device requires a minimum input power to trigger the automatic impedance adjustment. This threshold is referred to as the Start tuning power value.

Default Settings:

The device defaults to manual (semi-automatic) operation mode. The default start tuning power threshold is set at 5W. and the screen is always on.

RF Port:

a. Connect the RFIN RF input port of the device to the RF output port of the amplifier or transceiver.

b. Connect the ANT RF output port to the antenna (or load).

Power Supply Port:

a. The power input port can be connected to a DC 12V power supply. with the plug having an internal positive pole and an external negative pole. Note: This device contains a 15V TVS limiting diode for power supply protection; the fuse will blow if the DC power supply voltage exceeds 15V.

b. This device contains a 5000mAh polymer lithium battery. allowing operation without a 12V DC power supply when the battery is fully charged.

Charging Port:

a. When the internal battery of the device is low. use the attached USB charging cable to connect to a 5V mobile phone charging head for charging (charging head not included).

b. Before charging. ensure that the output voltage of the charging head does not exceed 5V.

c. The indicator light next to the USB port lights up red during charging and turns off when fully charged.

Note: The battery power indicator light uses a blue LED with ultra-low conduction voltage. When the power switch is not turned on for BATTERY power supply. there will be a slight flash. This indicates the standby state of the battery charging and discharging module. with a standby current of about 0.2mA. This is not leakage and does not affect battery life.
